Home-made Wendy's Frosty in Three Ingredients

If you are a fan of the Wendy's Frosty [like I am], this recipe should interest you.

Popsugar food has a video up detailing how to make your own home-made Wendy's frosty only on three ingredients: condensed milk, chocolate milk, and Cool Whip. It all seemed so simple as she mixed the three ingredients, until the big kicker came in that you had to have an ice cream machine. Sure, if you have one, that's great, but for the rest of the regular folk with no extra disposable income to get one, that's just a no go.

Fret not, though, as a viable suggestion from the comments came in if you are like me who happen to not have an ice cream machine lying around the house.

"To those without an ice cream maker, Brothers Green Eats did a video on this and froze the chocolate milk in an ice cube tray. Then they blended the chocolate milk ice cubes, the condensed milk, and cool whip in just a regular blender."

Wendys' Steakhouse Baconator

This new offering from Wendy's drew my interest. The world's 3rd biggest fastfood chain has dressed up their Baconator with various toppings [See: Bacon Mushroom Melt Baconator, and Mexican Baconator], as they try to lure in consumers to their stores, and compete with the top 2 [McDonalds and Burger King]. Since I'm a few blocks away from a Wendy's Restaurant, I tried one out. One might wonder what a Steakhouse Baconator consists of, so without further ado, here's the contents:

2 beef patties [which are always bigger than the bread]
6 strips of bacon [which fo
r some reason is never cooked crispy, and I end up eating a whole strip in one bite]
sauteed or caramelized onions
mushrooms
Wendy's hamburger buns

Without further ado, here's a couple of snaps before I gobbled it all away. Nice burger, for sure. For the meal's price of almost 300Php (USD 6.50) for the Steakhouse Baconator, large fries and Wendy's Lite Iced Tea, it better be, since it is quite a pricey offering.
